1964 Original Pontiac Laurentian 409

I saw this advertised a few years ago and the seller posted a picture of the VIN number. The VIN decoded as a six cylinder Laurentian. He hasnt mentioned the VIN in any other ad since.

So what would be a fair price for a near perfect 64 409 4 speed Creation? Or is it just a matter of being upfront about it and go from there?

If it is a mint restoration, no bondo, new interior, all mechanical bits perfect, 409 numbers and condition checked, Id say $35-45k. Say that nice body with a sbc/6 would be worth $15-25k, a good rebuilt 409 would cost &15-20k. I dont think and original block in this car would add that much, unless it was also original paint and low mileage kind of rig.

May as well be up front about this car, GM docs will reveal this car was not an original 409 car.

Mark... The drive to Bobcaygeon will be more fulfilling than down to Windsor. The GP is twice the car, and we should have enough parts to make it "3 pedal"!!!!

Some Poncho questions for the local experts....

1.. 3.55 axle..GM available?

2..F40.. On a Parisienne?

3.. Richmond?

4.. ORIGINAL...How is that?
