Cost for evaluation

Last week I got a call from the insurance company telling me that my car needs a new evaluation. I got it done today by the same folks that had previously evaluated my car as well as a friend's car.

Here in the Montreal region prices go for about $225.00. I'm wondering how much they ask in other parts of the country.

Please share what you paid for, would be interesting to see how prices vary across the country.

Cheers, Leo

I haven't had one done in a number of years, but it was about the same here in Calgary.

about 220 I think. Full wright up.....pics of all sides,...interrior etc. Received a 12 page brochure on my car and comparisons on it's value for what had sold. Fair amount of work for what he charged. Look up compatibles..take and print pics.... type up text (description of vehicle) and put all in folder, then send off to ICBC and give me a copy.

Yes, that's pretty much what I get too. He even takes pictures of the frame from underneath and from the GM Vintage vehicle services report.

5 years ago I had paid $125.00 but yesterday $225.00. Prices have gone up like everything, but so has the value of cars.
