Had a neighbor come up to look at A/C on Grandville, he pressure tested system with "Argon "gas to 150 psi and Valve at evaporator [ VIR} is leaking!!  Clutch tested out good and Compressor not seized!! Have ordered a VIR eliminator kit, which will cycle comp instead of running all the time, & adapters for charging & refrigerant that's compatible with R 12 or R134 and go from there. Heater A/C control dash light out & trying to figure out how to replace, bottom of dash pretty well closed in with ducts, Hmmm?? Should get PHS report on it next week .Found some papers in G/box shows it was sold new in St Louis MO
