My first car was a 52 Plymouth flathead, 2 door hardtop, $75. Drove it a year, sold it for $100 to a guy in West Devon. He put a 318 and push button automatic in it, bucket seats too. It was a 3 on the tree. I then bought a 60,000 mile 1961 valiant 4 door, 3 on the floor, $300. Got hit head on in that one by a drunken idiot in a 65 Mustang convertible. It was a dirt road and I got almost stopped before he hit me, wrote off both cars. Luckily just scratches for the people.
