What are you doing to adjust? ie. stabilier, jetting, timing, AV Gas, replace all rubber fuel lines with ethanal safe rubber.

Just wondering before Cruising season starts up?

Last check I made was that Shell Esso + Indian reserve here were not adding ethanol to high test as some new vehicals reuire it & Gov, recognizes this problem.

Yes it all has up to 10% ethanol now,   started late last summer,  its true.

No more premium for me,  the only reason to use premium now is for the octane levels(if you need high octane)

Small equipment, its a waste of money.    Just put in some stabilizer,  and drain all your gas out if a car or small engine is going to be stored for the season.

They had also dropped the octane levels by 2 points for a while... not sure if that is back to 91 on premium or not ?

I am hoping when Autoline rebuilt my Q-jet about 3-4 years ago they will have used ethanol friendly parts such as the accelerator pump. I'm assuming all the parts we buy for our carburetors now are up to spec for ethanol?

No change here, would likely be a provincial regulation?

We were always told Premium gas here in PEI did not have any ethanol. I wonder if that's changed as well.

That may be fake news? I dont see anywhere that Canada eliminated ethanol in 2022.

BYW, marina fuel around here is regular unleaded, which contains ethanol.

My local (Hamilton) Shell still says no ethanol in the 91. I filled up at Canadian Tire last night, and the pump had stickers indicating 10% ethanol in 87, 5% in 89, and 0% in 91.

Does anybody have a link that isn't hosted by a politician?  The link provided seems to have a lot of blown-up info intended to sway your political views, and frankly I'm having a hard time believing anything political these days.

A quick internet search didn't yield anything other than the regulations that have existed since 2010, but regardless I'd like to see a neutral, non-political source - until then it's not happening in my mind.  Politics and word of mouth (or twitter antics) don't cut it with me these days.

Absolutely, Darryl.  These days you can't believe everything you read as there are a lot of people posting crap on the net to promote their own agendas, often under the guise of trying to 'help' people.  These days you have to be objective and cynical, and cross-check multiple sources.  I did a little search on Gallant, and apparently she is known for her divisive rhetoric and spreading untruths... the state of politics these days (which I thought was not allowed on this forum).

Anyhow, as I mentioned I'm not going to get all excited about something that dingbat posts on her site until I hear it from a credible source.  You can see the damage that her kind of activity causes, getting people upset over something that probably isn't going to happen, to advance her agenda.  Enough said.
