Nexen tires

Has anyone ever bought Nexen tires? Putting a wheels together and red line tire are priced out of the picture. I can buy a set of Nexen way cheap.

Your first clue may be where they are made. I'd check that out, I think/thought they were from Korea. I seem to remember seeing some snow tires my son wanted to buy and they were so cheap that it was hard to believe....

Remember, "you get what you pay for" If price is cheap so is the product!!!

I have a set of nexxen tires.

I got them from walmart;
They are a studdable winter tire.
Great value for money spent.
no problems with them what so ever.

I believe I bought them in '07 for my Grand Am, and my GA was retired from daily driver duties in early 2010;
They still look fine (the car has been parked covered for most of the time since then with those tires on them).

I was interested to read a review saying they were surprised by them for the cost and that saying you get what you pay for did not Apply in this case. If we are to start replacing tires deemed out dated its hard to justify putting a top of the line tire on my old classic that will see no miles

Just to add to this, fwiw they have been around a long time around here, 15 years Id say. Id check Amazon or sites like that for a rating and reviews, I think they are ok for the money on a seldom used vehicle.

I can't remember if it was Flair or Swoop I used when I flew last fall Kevin. I have flown Flair though and it was fine. NO frills but I don't really care about frills.
