So, my 2012 F150 with 164K on it has become a parts pig in the last year or so and the latest is that this 3.5 Ecoboost doesn't have enough vacuum, so they have an electric pump for brake vacuum.

And, of course it is starting to fail, making weird noises but so far, I still have power brakes.  Being proactive, I called Ford, $1,124 for the electric vacuum pump and the same FORD part through Rock Auto

with the CP discount landed at my door is $597.  I am all for supporting local but $500 and change difference is just too much.
