Wanted: 1962 US full size Pontiac front end sheet metal parts

I am looking for a number of front end pieces for my 62 US Pontiac Catalina.

Specifically I need a hood, as well as a complete 2 speed wiper setup including the crossover wiper cowl vent, the crossover wiper transmission and the wiper motor, switch and wiring harness.

Ideally I'd like to get the wipers as a package but I will buy individual parts if anyone has them.

However, the hood is the most important part I need

The parts can come from a 62 Catalina, Bonneville or Grand Prix.

I will be travelling in southern Ontario from May 27 to June 6, when I will be checking out a few flea markets: Lindsay for certain, and possibly Barrie or Fergus.

However. if anyone has these parts, I can also pick them up in southern Ontario, Quebec or the Maritimes at some point during these travel dates.

If you have any of these parts, or know where I can get them, please message me at this site.

Many thanks.

Nothing off a 62 Cdn Pontiac works John? A guy I know is getting a 4 door to likely part out. Not for you but he also has a 4 door 1960 US Pontiac.

My hood was good but it got crushed in a transport accident.

I have a Canadian hood that was donated to me by another member here and I think I can make it work if necessary but not without heavy mods and lots of welding. Same goes for the Canadian fenders I have as the hood mounts differently

If I can land a US hood I'll go that route as it involves far less labor. If not I'll use the Strato Chief parts. Thanks to anyone who can help.

kinda looking for a needle in a haystack... BUT you never know if you don't ask!!! Lindsay is a garage sale, went 2 years before C19. Pretty much a waste of time, Barrie is getting the same, too many clothing sellers there now... just my .02 cents.

Why not try the border states on the way down, google wrecking yards and spend a couple of hours calling them to see if they have your parts. It would be a lot closer then Ontario.. Northern Maine, mid Vermont , Conn....

Yes it's tough. I got two workable Bonneville fenders in Ontario last fall but I could not find the rest of the parts. I gave up going to Barrie in 2008 after attending for most of the prior 25 years, The fact is that the supply of parts is drying up even in the established large flea markets. When O went to Carlisle in 2016 and 2019, the supply was understandably nothing like what I had seen there in the early 1990s. Likewise I used to get a lot of stuff on Ebay. Now I rarely find anything I need or want there. You can get any body clip you want. But real parts are harder to come by.

I might try looking for yards in New England. It's clearly more likely that I'll find US car parts across the border. The problem is that I just don't know where those yards might be. Most of the ones I was aware of years ago - some of which had a lot of cars - are crushed and closed now.
