New member Introduction

Thanks for the add to the Pontiac Forum. I've recently purchased a 1960 Parisienne with a very nice patina finish. I plan to keep it the way it is with no major upgrades other than front disc brakes and minor engine upgrades.

Welcome here Ian. You've come to the best site there is for Canadian Pontiacs!

I helped a friend put disc brakes on his 60 Parisienne last fall. Fun job!

Welcome from Canada's east coast. Sounds like a good plan for the car. Any pictures?

Welcome Ian, I'm sure you'll fit in here, as long as you have a "few screws loose" I had a 60 Poncho way back when, 4dr 6cyl auto, it " burned 3 qrts. of oil " just on the started motor" !!!!!! It wasn't that old, but had tons of miles on it Got me started on the PONTIAC kick even if it was a "bad "start. Feel free to ask any questions, we're here to help [if we can]

Safe to say I've got a few screws loose. I've got a Ford tattoo, drive a new Ram. Intended on buying a Cadillac hearse but came home with the Parisienne instead.

I'd say you made a great decision. Fine looking cars those 60's.
