a friend of mine gave me a aftermarket tach for 64 gto. this is the plastic one. problem is there was no harness with it . there is one plug which feeds the lights but on the back of it is two blades to install a connector but neither has any type of marking. i assume one is for power and the other would go to coil/distributor. has anyone ever had one of these that knows how it gets wired

Do a Google search for 64 tach wiring diagram and check for images.

if it was factory tach wiring wouldn't be a problem this is one of those plastic re pops, as you can see in the pic there is to blades where a connector would go problem is i don't which wire should go to each blade and i assume if i hook it up wrong it will fry the tach thought maybe somebody here might have put one of these into there beaumont at one tome and might be able to tell me what wires go where. can't find who madetach pic.JPG these or any instructions online at all

Ok, I saw a picture of that one as well when I was searching.

I would think the orange (red?) wire must be the 12 volt wire? Can't say for sure though.
