Sometimes a 911 call is not a bad idea

My desire for food has never been in question.

Sunday I backed away from the table and said I would finish what was left of dinner later. A few bathroom trips overnight.

Monday I took my wife shopping and waited in the car. My darling wife waved me over to unload the buggy.  I got out of the car and hand over hand made it to the back of the car where I just sat exhausted.

Got home and wife unloaded the car and I empathicaly insisted she get back in the car while I parked underground.

Made it to apt lobby using my ski poles to keep me upright and collapsed on the closest bench telling my wife to call 911. I was simply toast.

Seems that I had torn my esophagus and the blood had enteredy my stomach

.I have now been transferred to a room and after 4 blood transfusions and 2 more scheduled along with medication to repair my stomach. Experience with Emergency was excellent even with covid.

Enough for now!

On the mend.

From the web

tear is a tear of the tissue of your lower esophagus. It is most often caused by violent coughing or vomiting. A Mallory-Weiss tear can be diagnosed and treated during an endoscopic procedure. If the tear is not treated, it can lead to anemia, fatigue, shortness of breath, and even shock.

Now I understand what yanked my chain!

My room on the 6th flooor overlooks the Parkwood Estate a restored home of GM and a popular movie destination site.

Even today people are walking about outside after their indoor tour.

A great summertime luncheon destination and you might even see preparation for as movie shoot.

Being discharged today.

Blood levels returned to within normal with a  follow up stomach scope in 2 weeks.

Have had some interesting thoughts on selling my car while here.

Anyone driven their car at Mosport Track Day?

Well home again!

Stop one prescription,  start two more morning and night.

Ever thought about flinging 4000 lbs  of metal through ten turns of the track.

Sale price would include a short track day. Possibly have one of Mosport drivers give you a seat of the pants display of road surfing.

$49,000 .00
