Wow. I love it! Can't even come close to restoring a car for that price and look what you get.

Interesting that it was repainted, I wonder why? Also interesting that it doesn't have power brakes.

I have to admit, his choice of 65 Custom Sport wheels covers is a great choice vs the 66 plain covers.

Love the colour, so unusual to see it on a 66 full size Pontiac.

Didn't the 65-68 cars have body colour painted trunks?

My Strato Chief does. I suppose they made a rookie mistake when they repainted the car?

Just an itty bitty little thing in a monster space... There's room for much bigger there.

Needs a big block and a 4 speed. I've been biting my lip so bad, but I finally had to say it. What a perfect candidate.

A big block would be easy to find.

A 4-speed console would be impossible !

Looking at the trunk when you enlarge the picture. The paint, wear, lack of patch panels, bodywork, trunk weather stripping very worn, I would say that the paint (spatter) is original.  If it is a Parisienne, did it have to be produced in Oshawa?

Could it be built in the US?

Need an "expert" to jump in here....

As a non-expert I'll say quite confidently none of the 66 Canadian Pontiacs were built in the US. All Oshawa or Quebec I believe (Was it Ste Therese?)

Hey  Carl....  I missed the pic of the engine bay, body colour firewall makes it a Canuck build...

A friend of mine worked at a Chevrolet dealership in the 60s. I remember lots of GM cars in my area with splatter paint in the trunk. He said at the time that some of the paint in the trunk was horrible and they routinely splatter painted the trunks on new cars because it just made it more appealing to look at.
The paint used at the local dealership here was lighter than shown in this car, more like a gray colour splatter paint.

Check out those original, GM Canada, Floor mats.

1965ish to 1969, I think.

They are impossible to find.

My car only had two options and floor mats was one.

I have a tan set that I panted black.

I gave a black set away 20 years ago, never thought I would need them again no

If anyone comes across at set at a flea market, let me know !

I can not believe this CS is still for sale.

 LOL, no room...

I'd just make everyone mad when I stuck a 427/4 speed into it anyway!

Nice car but the question usually is: How many bodies can you fit in that trunk? Lol
