1 Owner, 1966 Parisienne 2 door Sport, 283 2 bbl, 2 spd powerglide, Bucket seats & console shifter. 45,000 original miles, 1 repaint in the 90s. Car needs nothing, ready to cruise. Too many vehicles and no time to enjoy them all.
Looking at the trunk when you enlarge the picture. The paint, wear, lack of patch panels, bodywork, trunk weather stripping very worn, I would say that the paint (spatter) is original. If it is a Parisienne, did it have to be produced in Oshawa?

A friend of mine worked at a Chevrolet dealership in the 60s. I remember lots of GM cars in my area with splatter paint in the trunk. He said at the time that some of the paint in the trunk was horrible and they routinely splatter painted the trunks on new cars because it just made it more appealing to look at. The paint used at the local dealership here was lighter than shown in this car, more like a gray colour splatter paint. Paul
