You'd get plenty of good trim and parts off it at a minimum or even as a yard car. So yes, 200 bucks would be very good. 

But man, you can't help think how nice it would have looked when new with that wet look..

Worst part is, I could store it at our kids.

Worse yet, it's only an hour past my sister's place in SW Manitoba. I could go and spend the night at their place, then run and grab it.

The fuel bill for the 600 mile round trip would be a killer though.

No, not me. Distance was too big an obstacle. I did the math and that car home would have cost me at least $700. I can't justify that for a parts car that I want but don't need.

4200 pound car. 1700 pound trailer. 5900 pounds.

Pull it 250 miles home with a 25 year old 4800 pound 2 wheel drive pickup. I'm not sure if that is fun. Maybe if there's no traffic and no wind...

100 miles maybe but 5-6 hours with that setup, I don't know...
