Crazy as it sounds, that truck won't end up here because it has no heated seats. Because of my wife's health issues, she has to have heated seats. She has a heating pad on her back all the time at home when she's sitting, all the time in the vehicle and all the time at work in the office (she works 1 day at week in the office).

Otherwise that truck has everything I would want.

I very much enjoy heated seats too, especially with leather.

Hey Carl
I have been looking at these as well as my 06 G6 is close to 300k and the body is starting to rust abit(don't want a full size as my daughter may need it time to time)-remote start is a must-a few that are on the lots here have a $50 credit at the end of the buildsheet for heated steering wheel and heated seats-seems with the chip shortage you pay for these but they don't work-it says retrofit at a later date-wow-so you could have one of these how long before they add the options you paid for-be wary-not just the Colorados-seen them on Equinox and others-read the whole buildsheet.
Keep on Cruising!!!!
Dave

Yes, thanks for thinking of me with that Dave. My nephew sells trucks for Birchwood GMC in Winnipeg and when we tried out a trade in 2022 crew cab from him a couple of weeks ago, he was telling us about that.

Hmm, that looks pretty much like what we want. Problem is, my nephew sells for Birchwood GMC so our hands are a little bit tied if we're going to buy in Manitoba! I do prefer the look of the Canyon but this is certainly a good looking truck. They must have had it a while, the heated seats went on hold a few months back apparently.

Perhaps your nephew's dealer would get it for you. It wouldn't be a dealer trade but I recall the Pontiac dealer I worked at making a deal with the Chevy store to get a Chevy for a regular customer. Worth a try!

These days with inventory what it is, I suspect dealers won't likely give up stock. And we really pretty much have decided we like the Canyon vs the Colorado.

Heated seats are nice, but I had no idea how much I'd appreciate a heated steering wheel until I got a car that had one... smile

Yes, we want the heated seats and steering wheel as well. My wife's issues are much happier if both are there for her.
