Installed one myself 10 years ago. Largest I could go was 3500 gal. because we are less than 6' to rock. would have liked to go larger. Bought from Moody in Lowbanks and price was around $3500 for the tank at the time. We were tired of dealing with sulphur well water. Smelled like townline tunnel. 197.JPG202.JPG

What does a cistern do to combat hard/sulphur water?
I have an iron filter that takes out the sulphur smell and water softener.
