Good day. Following up on a previous post. Can anyone confirm if the 239 CID flathead 6 engine in my 1953 Canadian built Pontiac Pathfinder is the same as the engine in the US built 1953 Pontiac Chieftain? Having a difficult time tracking down a water pump which needs replacing. Thanks.
I think I still have the old water pump from my straight eight if you need to compare it to your pump. That way you would know if the American pump is the same. I am fairly sure that they are the same.
