Hope it doesn't become a parts car. It's worth saving.
1969 Grande Parisienne 427
$7,500
Description
1969 Grande Parisienne 4 door Hardtop , LS1 427 V8 , turbo 400 , remote door mirror , skirts , strato bench seat w/headrests , rear defrost . One owner car with Protectoplate in the glove box . Was running and parked on a cement pad in 1984 and sat ever since. Now engine seized from sitting. Very rare 427 LS1 option , all in tact including air cleaner, exh heat shield hot air duct , engine cable tie downs . Plug wires and cap were removed but otherwise engine looks factory untouched . The quadrajet moves freely no problem. I poured some penetrating oil down each cyl the other day to see if it will free up the motor but either way it will have to come apart to rebuild. Last year for the Chev 427 so here is your chance to get a virgin 427 for your project. Firewall tag says LS1 confirming the big block. Fender emblems are decent and are ultra rare . Strato bench seat. Interior is dirty but dash pad , door panels and seats are good shape just need cleaning. Rubber nose is nice just paint peeling , hard to find one that is good. Chrome front and grills are nice, this is the GP front so is nicer than the Parisienne . One fender skirt rusted . Original bumper jack in trunk . Rear quarters and trunk floor rusted out. Vinyl top still fair condition considering it sat outside all these years. Three T-3 headlights still there. Great parts car with that powertrain , or make a cool cruiser . Car was sold new at Leggat Pontiac in Burligton, Ont. Selling complete only , no trades . Tires are shot , drums stuck , so bring cash and a trailer and will drag it on . Car located near Hafford, Sask.
Seeing the car was in Hafford SK, I suspected the seller was a former member here. I checked an old receipt, and sure enough he was.
The seller is the same gent I got the 69 2+2 parts car from in 2013 when I needed a chassis for my 70 Parisienne. He was a Cdn Poncho member at the time, but dropped off a little while later.
