That appears to be US. I wonder if Canada is following suit?
My whole life I have lived and breathed General Motors but they are doing their best to make me turn my back on them. We are currently shopping for a new vehicle. So far I've resisted every urge to shop any other brand but the desire to to start looking around at other stuff increases each time I read something like this.

Same Carl, Getting my Genesis G80 was the best automotive call I ever made.
I'm a lifelong GM guy. Of the more than 80 cars I've owned, only 13 have not been made by GM. however, GM currently makes no vehicle that I would buy.
If I needed a SUV it would be a Genesis or a Jeep Grand Cherokee. If I needed a car it would be a Mercedes, or a soon to be canceled Chrysler 300 Hemi, or maybe even a 5.0 Mustang. .
As to a truck, I just got a new 2022 Ram to replace my 2014 unit. It's a beautiful truck to drive, and in its creature comforts. Among pickups, nothing else interested me, including the new and improved Tundra.
I know it's all a matter of personal taste but GM doesn't do it for me anymore.
I too, GM truck nut , have owned a GM truck since I was 18 , everything from a 73 Stepside to a 2012 Escalade EXT. Have never wanted or ordered the Onstar and always just let it expire. This will definitely be a deterrent. Also what happens now when someone decides to sell one of these new vehicles,.do you have to sign up the new buyer ! Does a used buyer have to take on the payments.. Lol.
