Don (bigdreams) kindly sent me an issue of the Old Car Trader from July 1988. I never missed an issue back then and found two 69 Pontiacs for sale, one of which I remember going to look at!
The first is this red with white interior 1969 2+2 convertible with a 427/Auto and power windows. Car was from Alberta and being sold in Ottawa. Where is it now?
The second is a 1969 Pontiac Strato Chief 2 door hardtop. It was a one owner car with 24000 miles. No power steering or brakes. Mayfair Maize with black vinyl top and interior. The car was mint EXCEPT the roof was rotten under the vinyl top.
Such a disappointment since I drove "all the way" from London to Port Elgin to see it. Did it surive? If so where is it??
