Few questions from a noob!

new to the board and Just picked up a 1964 laurentian safari 3 row wagon. Super excited to start on this though a 20 y/o budget will be a bit tough! Anyhow from what i gather this is basically an impala being canadian right ?  I can use impala floors, suspension, frame, etc under it ?

also im curious as to how many laurentian safaris were made. Cant find much on google

thanks everyone!

Welcome here. You've come to the best online resource possible for your car!

Easiest way to figure out what fits your car is this-

Picture your car parked beside a same year Impala wagon. Lift the bodies off both and take them away. What is left sitting on the ground is identical.

As far as the floors go, a number of guys here know 64's better than me. I think the main floor pans are the same but sometime the panels between the floor and the quarter panels differ from Chev to Pontiac.

Yes, it's Chevy in more formal attire!

Just make sure when you order chassis stuff you don't use the word Pontiac with parts guys. So many guys have ended up with US Pontiac chassis parts and I'm not aware of a single piece of the suspension that is common between the US and Canadian models.
