A little story to the next few shots. In the 50s there was a BMC dealer in Claremont Ontario and my Dad bought a brand new 1949 Austin A40 from Ken Ward. I later was the recepient of a used 1952 Austin A40 on my 16th birthday. Later by Dad bought an Morris Oxford Traveller Series V Station Wagon that we called the Grey Ghost. Dad souped it up with an Austin Healey exhaust system and when he left for the midnight shift at the TTC you could hear each shift going down the road. Great memorys. Once there was a huge snow storm and I had to stay overnight in Claremont at Ken*s House. Kens wife was an ardent artist and painted many pictures and I now own one. Both Ken and his wife have now passed on.
Ken*s son Ray, has been displaying his Austin at over 20 Car Show and Shines this year.
The area of the ball diamond filled up and cars were transferred to the soccer field beyond the ball diamond.
