65 Custom Sport 409 still alive

We have talked about this one numerous times. Bought new at York Mills Pontiac in Toronto.

Apparently still alive....biggrin

I'm really glad I subscribed to Old Autos !

Something cool in every paper.

The 1963 Acadian article is good reading in the latest edition.

When I lived in Georgetown, Rene would bring it out occasionally. Didn't see many miles.

Is it a Parisienne with a Custom Sport front grille ?

65 CS's are my favourite CP.

I did a feature on Rene's car for POCI  newsletter years ago and I have photos in my archives. Rene did some day 1 personalization on the car, the most noteworthy being the dual quad setup from 1964 being dealer added. Those aftermarket driving lights were very popular back then a la Grand Prix styling. It is a Parisienne with the grille from a GP  plus the driving lights. Its a bench seat 4 speed car with the Pontiac tach on lower side of dash.  Hate to say but its gotta be well over 10 years since I did that feature. I'll have to dig up my photos.
