As of November 1 you'll be able to read every issue of Hot Rod magazine online for free. I look forward to reading some of those great Musclecar reviews.

Looking forward to it. I subbed to it on and off over the years since I was a boy. I loved it.

That's excellent, similar to Mark I've had subscriptions over the years starting in the late '80's, probably 12-15 total (never really counted) and bought many of theirs, Popular Hot Rodding and Super Chevy off the newsstands too.   Many are dog eared and by no means mint but I kept virtually all of them and every couple years I flip through them again as a lot of the 'tips and tricks' are still very applicable today to our old cars.   It makes me wonder why Motor Trend is providing for free, I'm guess lots of ads/promotions etc will be intertwined but that's totally reasonable, it's a business and they have to make some money too.

Thanks again for notice!

I tried out the site and it works pretty good. I suspect you have to be a paid member to search all the issues etc. I did find a few spelling errors when reading some articles. You can select articles from that issue's table of contents and it appears they used character recognition to read the original article and reprint in larger font and the "AI" made some mistakes. Other than that the price is right and I stayed up too late last night reading issues from the 50's-70s..
