Halloween kids

We set up a table at our front door with treats with a big sign that says "2 TREATS EACH PER PERSON PLEASE".

I sit at the computer doing my reading but the other monitor has the security cameras including the front door camera. 99% of the kids are respectful but every so often........

I just ran to the front door, said "One of you kids read the sign and took at a lot more than 2 treats", not pointing any fingers at anyone. Guilty party stepped up and coughed up the extras she had taken.

That kind of stuff just bugs me!

We are in an area known around the community as "The New Development". The funny thing is, this development began in 1978 when my brother bought the first house here, out in a field. Small town and the name has stuck for 44 years, even though the neighbourhood has an actual name! Anyway, this area is always the popular area of town for the kids to come to on Halloween.

Same type of thing where I grew up. Our city had a traffic circle until about 1980. It was removed and traffic lights installed in its place. Many people still reference the area as the traffic circle. It does confuse a lot of people.
