Potential? If that drivers seat base is a tell tale, this might be a pretty good project car. If it were near me, I'd be on it.

You never know. To the eye the little things you see inside maybe say yes.. it just might be ok.

If decent, surely it deserves to be saved. Ignore the finish and make it into a nice patina' d driver.

One picture of the trunk shows an assembly of parts stuffed in an oil pan.  Condition of motor?

Click on the picture then open in a new image to resize and get the full picture more clearly.

I'm trying to get an idea of what engine it had originally. Either 283 2-barrel or the 327 250-horse 4-barrel. The Quadrajet, intake & valve covers make it look like a 1969-76 350. What's that small 4-barrel carb in the trunk? That is more like the carb used on the 327. Different Powerglide depending on 327 or not. 327s used the new aluminum Powerglide with HD drum; 283 used the boat anchor old cast iron 1.82 low holdover.

Neat car! I'll bet it had seat covers on it until recently. Also it appears to have factory tint all around, a rare bonus.

It's weird how Pontiac dropped the 348 with either 4 barrel or 3-twos after '61, then maxed out with only the 327 250-horse for '62. Things woke up again and got really interesting for '63 and beyond though.
