1958 Pontiac Sedan Delivery Wagon Car was completely stripped down to bare metal. Any rust that was in the car was cut out and replaced with new metal. Body work and paint are finished. The engine and transmission were completely rebuilt by a professional shop. New glass was installed in the front and rear hatchback. Front end has been completely rebuilt with brand new components. Good portion of the chrome has been re-chromed and polished. New rims and whitewall tires have also been installed. There is a second parts car that comes with it to complete the project. $27000

Man, that's a beauty!  Love the colour combo and... everything else actually.

I first wondered if the two-tone would be correct for a sedan delivery, but then the Pathfinder has all the chrome for the divide, and two-tone was available in the Pathfinder series.  So I imagine that if a customer wanted to spend a little extra on paint to spiff up the car that's representing their company, then why not?  It is a Pontiac after all.

This blog post (link below) from 2018 shows another two-tone example that has a few custom touches.  The author also mentions that he had one that he dragged out of a field but eventually sold it off because it was too much of a project.  It was also originally this seafoam green colour, apparently.  With only 402 sold for '58 (from the article), I wonder if this car is one of those two?  There can't be too many left.

Really pretty and coming together nicely. Super rare and as a commercial vehicle, chances of survival were slim.

I remember a '58 Chevy Delray sedan delivery in a driveway as a driver along Highway 6 north of Waterdown for years. Might have been the span 1973-81 it was a familiar sight. Flat black with mags & mini west coast mirrors. A few years back I saw a vintage photo posted here that included a 1958 parade photo in Waterdown. In the frame is a new 1958 Delray sedan delivery belonging to the fire department. Pretty likely it is the same vehicle given proximity and rarity.
