In October Beaumontguru and I spent some time in a wrecking yard that has a lot of cars 70's and older. I saw these under the hood of I-can't-recall-what and had to grab them. I've never seen anything like them before. Anyone have experience with them? They say AN737 RM30 and 4/52 on them. Looking online it appears the 4/52 is a date code but it seems to me it was a car in the 60's, although they could have just been added at a later date. They are stainless steel except the screw, which a magnet will grab.
They clean up wonderful in the tumbler too. Once I did that, a quick dip in Evaporust finished the cleaning. Now if I would spend a little bit of time detailing the screw they would actually look NOS. The picture doesn't do it justice, they shine like chrome!
