1963 Parisienne

If this is truly a no-rust car, shouldn't it be selling at this price?

Not very good pictures of the outside of the car or the undercarriage but sure looks like a solid original car from here. Nice to have pics of inside of rockers, frame, rear quarters (inside and out) , and rear body mounts. A 6 is likely a negative too.

Yes, the 6 will deter a lot of buyers but lots of guys would not be scared. They'd just buy it and install a big block and a 4 speedsmile

Most guys I know "pass" on looking at cars in Quebec.  Their very liberal used car policy amount to zero. Cars there that are written off, can be fixed....

I think I can see a patch in the trunk on the passenger side when I enlarge the picture. I agree that we need better pictures. Due to the lack of vehicle inspections in Quebec it could be bad underneath.

Cars are written off very easily these days. My neighbor had a 2008 Ranger written off when his niece parked it without putting it in park. It rolled down a hill backwards into some alders. It needed a rear bumper, tailgate, drivers door was open when it hit the alders so it kinked back and took out the fender too. Not a scratch on the frame, box or cab, only damage was the parts I mentioned, insurance wrote it off. Including paint by a pro and used parts, it cost under $2,000 to fix, extended cab, 2wd, 130,000kms, absolutely no rust, it was rust checked annually. It had no damage such that it needed a wheel alignment.

Written off doesnt mean what it used to. He had to have a mechanical inspection and now has a salvage title.

I see some pretty high prices on vehicles in Quebec, at least by my standards. The lack of meaningful pictures is a big negative, reminds me of some previously good looking 4 doors 1963 ads which were lacking detail in the picture department. I also wondered about that being a patch in the trunk where the body mount is behind the tire. Both my mounts in that area were fixed, my inside and outside rockers and quarters are mint.

Believe this car has been advertised for some time and we've discussed before.
That big trailer hitch with the 6 cyl raises a lot of questions.
