Kevin, I am betting the repro parts you got are wrong, either packaged wrong or just a generic part that's "close". I checked the Beaumont parts book as well as the Tempest/Lemans/GTO book and all 3 cable are the identical part number for those 1964-1966 vehicles, except of course the US cars if they had factory air. I was pretty sure that's how it had to be because the stuff all looks identical between the US and Canadian models. 9774401 for air inlet, 9774402 for defrost and 9774403 for temperature cable.

The parts book says 1967 is different vs 1964-1966. I bet they reproduced the 67 cables thinking they are all the same, or knew they aren't and try to cheat.

I just ordered a set of 66 gto heater control cables? So these are also correct for my 66 beaumont?

If the reproductions are correct for 66, yes. The GM parts books show the same cables for 66 GTO and 66 Beaumont. However Kevin is saying he had issues with his repro cable lengths and I am only guessing but I suspect they are selling 67 cables as fitting 66 also. GM says 67 doesn't fit 66.

Well that would be a drag if true. The 66 gto cables I ordered today should be here in about a week. I will endevour to check the lengths of the new ones when they arrive with the ones in my 66 sd asap and post the info. Thanks

PS... someone on here must have replaced the heater cables on their 66 beaumont. Anyone?

Yes, please post updates.

Who did you order from? I'd like to look at their listing.

Yes, I see they list them as 66-67. Please post your findings. I'm concerned because GM is very clear that the 2 years don't use the same part numbers.

Thanks!

If all goes well I will have a 67 in my garage next week and one of the things I will be doing is removing all 3 cables to loosen them up. If that happens I'll post measurements on them.

With all due respect to your guy. How did he come to this conclusion? Do you know? Did he measure the new and original cables? This is the part number I ordered yesterday. Are confident in his conclusion? Do you doubt his comment at all?  Just trying to get the correct info on these cables.

Is there any way you can measure each of the 3 cables and post your findings on here?  Thank you

I have the 67 here now and plan to start working on it next week so I'll certainly update here with details as soon as I can.

So I received the ones that say for 64-65. From what I see the short cable is the same, the medium cable is the same but 66-67 long cable is a lot longer. I did not take them out of the package and measure them
