Anyone know what became of this big block 9 passenger Laurentian auctioned in Edmonton in July?

Perhaps contact the auction house and see if they'll give you the buyer's info.

I would hope you would confess to me if you had bought it!

Looks like a nice car that went for a nice price.

Candidate for 427/4-speed I presume?

It could even stay a 396 but the 4 speed conversion is a must. I can't imagine anyone thinking it could remain an automaticbiggrin

In Ontario for $20 you can serch the vin.

Must be a car registered in Ontario.

It looks like the car was in Toronto at one time.

Do you think the last one you posted is where it is currently at? It sold in July for $7600, got a detailing under the hood sometime after that, sold in September for $9000 but I can't figure if Gentry had it in between or bought it in September for $9000.

I think now that Gentry motors was the last owner. There isnt a date on their website relating to the date it was sold.
Gentry probably bought it and had it shipped to Ontario. You could contact them and see when they sold it, they may be able to forward your contact information to the current owner.

Yes although if you look down around the fuel pump/engine mount area it looks like it was a bit of a quickie job!

Unless I'm reading this wrong the high bidder was in Alberta:

Like I said earlier contact Michiner and ask them if you can contact the high bidder (5080). Worst they can say is no or perhaps they'll contact the high bidder and give him/her your phone number.

Found this on Facebook from October:

Would this be after Gentry Lane?

Screenshot from 2023-01-05 22-39-21.png

The link led to this site where it sold for 14k

Hmm, gone forever it looks like..... at least no trace of where it went.

Did you notice it gained 50 horsepower? Now it's a 375 horse!

Cool car,   stay on it.   one day it will surface again,  they always do.

So , not that i know much about this, but all the side trim and the front fender louvers are INcorrect? right?

If someone has the VIN, $25 will get the used vehicle report and the name of the last (present) owner..

It's all in the sorely placed and incorrect Chevrolet air cleaner decal.
