Beaumont quartz clock conversion?

Has anyone had one of these converted? I'm thinking the 64-67 is very similar if not identical?

I should add to this, I'm talking about the one in the dash, not a console clock.

Mine actually worked for about an hour since I've owned the 66 but I haven't got around to checking it out.

I assume the GTO/Lemans stuff would be the same so there must be conversions out there?

I would think so but the problem is, we can't just go buy a clock for a GTO because then it says "PONTIAC"  on the face and we all know Beaumonts aren't Pontiacs.....

I just had my clock refurbished for my '65. I considered the quartz upgrade but decided I want the old-school springs/gears/points for my old-school car. Bench tested it this afternoon and it's working perfectly. Couldn't be happier. -Doug

I had my 2+2 clock converted to quartz in 2011 and it is still keeping perfect time!

I managed to wake the old Borg clock in the 65. It loses about 2 hours a day, but at least I can hear the little trademark winding click.

I'd love the quartz conversion, but $300 seems a little much. I wonder if it can be a DIY?
