I am replacing all 3 harnesses under my hood. Wipers....lights....engine..harnesses. 66 sd. American auto wire.Do I go 66 chevelle or 66 gto? Anyone have experience with this project?

i used a harness out of a chevelle and had no problems

chevelle for sure,     leave it to the facebook idiots to lead you Astray.    its chevelles stuff not GTO/tempest.

underdash harness is unique to beaumont, but a gto one might be closer.  but to answer your qquestion about underhood stuff, its chevelle.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

As Beaumontguru stated, certainly at least the under hood harness from a GTO would not be correct. A major difference that immediately comes to mind, the battery and starter are on opposite sides with Chevelle/Beaumont vs GTO.
