67 Beaumont paint dab on the diff housing

I know lots of guys (including myself) enjoy this kind of stuff so I thought I'd post it here. 

I had occasion to be under a 40,000 original mile 67 Beaumont and noticed this. I assume it was done to let assembly line workers know the diff was filled with oil?

That's cool Any stripes on the driveshaft? I have yet to see a 64 to 67 canadian a body with them.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

Just identifying markings for the assembly line.  probably length or trans/diff combos.

 Now that I think about it, I wonder if all 64-66 at least would have been the same? There was no TH400 so a powerglide, 3 or 4 speed manual would have used the same shaft. Exception I guess would be if the 396 cars had heavier U joints (which I think maybe was the case.)

67 for sure there would have been at least 2 different shafts.
