Hi Randy
I am doing the same at my daughters house-put toilet-vanity-etc today and the garbage guys picked it all up-never seen a one piece toilet before-circa 1970-man it was heavy!!!!

Spent most of the weekend putting drywall on the ceiling at my cousins.  Good workout and I will say using a lift is sure better then trying to hold a sheet up with your head while you try to put a couple of screws in.  (Did that when I was young and dumb!)

The 1978 American Standard toilet you see is a keeper.

My wife does not like the new ones and we are on well water, so we are not worried about the water usage,

I will put new hardware and seals in it.

The only interruption in the day was a call from the body man.

Howard provided me with the two outer sections of the trunk of the 2+2 but the center section is not the best.

I asked him to order the middle part.

Probably the cost of a new toilet wink

Been there, done that. I had to finish basement washroom before I started restoration of my 64. I installed an electric heated floor over the concrete. And i love it.

Framing, wiring, plumbing, new tub in and the new window planned.

Got to the mud stage.

My Brother in-law hopefully will be in this week.

He is so much better than me at taping.

I have the same project to do at some point. The main level washroom/laundry room needs a shower installed (and paint and floors and and and). Once the shower is in the upstairs bathroom will get the complete gut out.

Work progresses despite the time thieves.

Ordered the lights through Home Depot.

They offered Home Delivery.

Great, save time, nope.

The overhead light came busted.

Dropped it off at a UPS store, nowhere near me and shipped it back.

Ordered the same light but delivered to the store instead.

Got notice on Saturday it was in so off to the store.

Had the store clerk check light #2 before it left her hands, same break as the first one.

Sent that back.

I was furious but I made sure the clerk understood that I was not mad at her personally.

Took a day to calm down and called the On-line number today.

Spent some time today. with the call centre and explained this mess.

Came away with a $50 discount on vanity light that was part of the original order.

We will just have to live with the curly cue on the pig tale for a while biggrin

PS, promised a member I would hunt something down out of my loft this weekend.

If you are reading this, I haven't forgot, it's just that the time thieves will not leave me alone biggrin
