RE: My New Radio Show

Crap! I just got called to go to work so I will only catch the first 15 minutes of the program. Does anyone have a way to record this? I don't have the smarts or the means to know how to do it.

You must have missed my show from May 15th, the last one I did before this. It was all rain songs. Didn't really work though. Maybe musically but no real results otherwise heh heh

I was at a remote northern ontario cottage on the weekend with no electricity and 7 miles from the nearest cel tower with only one bar on the cel phone(and only when standing outside on a mosquito infested outdoor deck).   i managed to get a LTE+ signal with one bar, so figured id give the Boreal website a shot.  Sure enough, it came thru.   Then i thought, because i only have a 3.5MB data plan, i would eat up all my date in a hurry.   So then i left my phone out on the mosquito infested deck, went back inside the screen porch, and connected to my Bluetooth JBL speaker.   Ended up listening to the whole 2 hours without a hic-up,  and only used about 150MB of data.    YeeHa!

I also got my relatives in Minnesota and Florida hooked,  so you have a few more weekly listeners!

Wow Ken, I think you're up to 6-7 listeners now...!

I'm still disappointed I had to miss almost all of this week. All I caught was the first few songs and you saying you're still enjoying the SS!

So will there be anything for us tomorrow night Ken? Or will it just be the regular French programming?

Sorry guys I've been flying in the birddog about 7 hours a day over a fire just west of Janvier trying to keep it from heading east. Today looks like another tough one

so no show tonight   Tomorrow promises to be a be easier though.

Next week is possible as I will be off shift on Tuesday so maybe I can sneak out early on Monday night if its calmed down.

Thanks for asking!

Well then I guess it's into the garage to change the water pump on the yellow car. (I actually started working on it already but I was hoping for an excuse to not have to work through the evening).

 Good news for Carl!

Technically i am still working today (on a one hour call)  but it is raining locally here so i will try to take the chance to head to the studio and get er done!  If I have to skip out suddenly or miss it entirely that will be why.

Should be a good show all about the joys of summer which I am hoping to experience soon.  A couple of good grooving cruisin'  tunes to start the show and then straight downhill all the way!

Hope you guys tune in!

So when will the phone number for the request line be posted? You need to step up your game if you are going to become world famous like Wolfman.

Requests?   Hah. I only accept bribes.

By the way there will be a show tonight!  )1800 hrs Alberta time on the Boreall FM website live feed.)    This one will feature covers of some well known songs, some of which are really good and some of which should be covered with 6 feet of dirt.  Only you can judge!  Should be fun, if I can sober up Baxter in time.

Baxter fell off the wagon again? Time to get him a seat belt.

Looking forward to the show. Finally I don't have anyone looking for my time from 7:00 - 9:00 Manitoba time.

favourite so far tonight:   Elvis Presley version of Blue Moon of Kentucky.   1954,  some early elvis for sure,  and i bet its a rarity on record?
