Can anyone help a potential buyer of a 28 Pontiac?

I recieved an email from a potential buyer of a 28 Pontiac sold in Canada. He asked these 3 questions:

Hello -- I'm thinking of buying a '28 Pontiac 2-dr. Sedan that was made in Canada. Wonder if you could help me decide.

  1. Is it true that Canadian ponchos of this era used Canadian oak instead of fruitwood in their structural framing?
  2. The Body Number is: K [could be "R"] -110. What factory made it -- Oshawa?
  3. Would this car have an odometer in Imperial miles, or US miles?

I was able to answer #2. I assume odometers were US miles but am unsure on pre-war cars.

Anyone?

I wonder if it is one from the collection near me. All 27 cars have been sold . The last bunch of 15 or so went to Germany.

The Oshawa Auto Museum may  be able to help. I'll get an email.
