Quite possibly, thats a 65 Chev dash, right hand drive GMs frequently had a left hand dash that was easy to convert to right hand. Vintage Services in Canada can provide factory build info on the car from that serial number.

7506971265669 for a VIN doesn't make sense on that car in the picture.

The 4th and 5th digits should be 39 for a sport sedan. 69 is for a 4 door sedan. Can you make sure that 69 is what the tag has on it?

Also the first 3 digits should be 755 or 756 on a Laurentian.

I'm sure that the built 1966 Chevs with "right hand drive". They show the different routings for lines, shifters, clutches etc in the Assembly manual I have.
As I remember there is a certain "suffix" for the model or Vin. They were built in Oshawa if my memory is correct, and I don't think they were COMPLETELY assembled in Canada for some reason.

From what I have read about Aussie GM Holden production, in later years a lot of things in the GM Canada cars provided CKD was evolving, there was also South Africa production and in some years Europe, maybe Belgium.

There is a post in ChevyTalk about production of 1958 CKD cars for export to various places, it includes some Canadian Pontiac numbers and info.
www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/showtopic.php

To the original poster, there is a fellow who posts on ChevyTalk under the screen name Carl62, he is Australian and had a huge database on USA 1962s vin and data plate decoding. He also has a lot of Holden knowledge, you might check him out via ChevyTalk.

A picture of the vin tag and trim tag from this car would be very helpful. We also have some Aussies on this site.

Pretty sure Carl Kelsen posting on this site is the guy to contact, lots of links there too.

I don't believe there was a Laurentian 4 door hardtop. Only Parisienne.
