The school district I worked for put them in their Tech Ed shops. The blades come as a cartridge and are a PIA to change out. That being said they have  eliminated the risk of dismemberment.

When everything we do looks after us...we stop to looking after ourselves. Problem is ..we think everything put in front of us is for our own best judgement or own good. When the crosswalk sing says walk...we walk. because it says we can do so and most don't even bother to look. When you jay walk..you are looking to protect yourself and will not walk until you know it's safe. When the "Walk "sign says walk and a guy runs a red light.......well...don't always trust what you read....... Has been proven that J walking is safer than a controlled x walk....wonder why???  If you think you have a saftey link to look after you..the less you will look after yourself! Think before you act..nothing safer...

Wish they had one of these at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design when I went there. They had a wood shop with all the tools you could think of, one being a giant cabinet makers table saw. One of the students who had zero common sense cut off all 5 digits on his dominant hand. Pushing a piece of wood through on a sled without thinking of where the blade was. Didnt see him after that one.,
