can anyone point me in the direction to find a lower rad hose for 65 pontiac laurentian 6 cyl

Do you have NAPA or AutoValue close by? They can get it.

I'll look up the GM part number and post it for you shortly. They should be able to cross it over.

So the GM number is 3857040. Gates number is 20531, Continental 60608, I thought Dayco would also have one but according to their website they only have a universal hose and you don't want that. You'll have to find someone who sells the Gates or Continental.

Same as a Chevrolet Impala / Bel-Air / Biscayne. You didn't indicate whether it's V8 or Inline 6.

I checked napa and Auto Value and both said they can't get it

 I wonder if you had someone at Auto Value not totally familiar with how to get one because I checked with our local Auto Value store and the Winnipeg warehouse has the Gates hose, the 20531 in stock.

 Correct, that should be the number Auto Value needs.

Just tell them it's for a '65 Chevy Impala with the appropriate 6 cyl displacement. Don't confuse them with the Pontiac Laurentian stuff.
