Is that engine & stand sitting on a sliding floor? I'm trying to figure what those side rails are for, it might be a race of some sort.

yepper, sliding floor in the back of my 23 Colorado works real well. pulled it out all the way and sat the engine on it. handled the weight no problem

No time set Carl, Ron has a full time job and as summer comes in working in a hot shop all week to come home and spend the weekend working in the heat just does not sound ideal. I would love to see this out of the shop so I can bring the 2 4spd cars in for metal work and have the Caprice in before winter. I do have use of an enclose trailer so winter movement of cars will work

Working on dash and harness. Working on Engine. My buddy found a rear taillight harness in his stash, 66 Beaumont only. Still a long way off but it's moving forward. Need to find a nice driveshaft

I'm excited for it to be done so you can quit messing around with these A bodies and get at the L72 Grande Parisienne!

Just for fun I went back to page 1 to remind myself what you started with.

What a job just to get it to this point.  I have so much respect for anyone who can pull off something like this.

Thanks for posting your progress.  I don't comment much, but I'm watching from the shadows.  :D

And he thinks the replacing the panels is the easy part of the job. He is getting tired with a full time job and doing this on his weekends

You are only at this point once, so it's nice to see the frame getting the attention it deserves
