DIY Ductless Mini Split Heatpumps

I'm considering one of these heatpumps for my workshop. Here in PEI you wait forever to get one installed. These are DIY.

Not sure how big of a unit you need but I have used this and it works great

Not sure why the link doesn't work but this is an 18000 BTU mini split AC/Heat Pump with quick connects.

Interesting. I guess all youd need is a 220 disconnect for it and youd be good to go.

Yes. My outbuilding has two 17x34 insulated areas with 20 foot ceilings.  I plan to convert one of them into a workshop. The heat pump should work well. My only concern is dust. My home heatpump filter get's dirty enough. I guess as long as I'm diligent on cleaning I should be ok. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to do any painting in the same room though. I'm good for power as I had a 200amp service installed.

Good price on the Danby's. I wonder what the warranty is on them?
