I am in great sorrow and pain now as my loving wife

Marlene has passed away. I pray to God that he has opened 

his arms and took this gentle soul.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I don't know if we can appreciate just how much of a loss it is to lose the centre of your universe, but it is HUGE.
Doug, you are going to need time for this to really hit home. Grieving will flow, let it.
Please though, when you have come through this tragedy, don't descend into alcohol as a permanent crutch. You are vulnerable at this point, stay aware. And don't be afraid to accept help & condolences from others.

We do care here. Reach out if need be.

Doug

The tears rolling down my cheeks make it hard to type.

The loss of a soulmate is difficult.

When I was 12 my 11 year old sister died in hospital from leukemia. I was at her bedside along with my parents.

 

I spent many years trying to figure it all out.  

I hope you can find immediate support as this will be a trying time.

Reach out to me and 

Maybe we can cry together.

I don't think it is fair to say the Lord took her, but he received her with open arms. She is in no pain. That is solace to those back here on earth who are.

Doug, I will pray for your broken heart, and for something positive to fill that void. I truly feel for you bro.

As the tears roll down my cheeks. As most of you know Dougie and I have been comrades for many years on this site. But we were always jabbing at each other...(for the entertainment factor) we became close friends that had never met. Last year Doug and Marlene flew out to visit/meet. We had such a blast together and she fell in luv with our property on Jordan River. I know Doug would never post this on any other site..because this is a family site.  I'm so sorry and feel for you bud... but I'm sure glad to hell I met her! I knew then who the boss was!!!!
