Scored ! A free set of original big block valve covers


I have been giving a set of original, big block valve covers.

Chrome but I will scuff them and paint them.

They look correct for a 1969 but I am looking for opinions.

wire wheeled one and gave it a quick shot of engine clear coat.

Tempted to bolt them on like this biggrin

Drivers side valve cover has the spark plug holder tower ahead of the rear valve cover bolt, if I recall that kind of messes with the throttle linkage on the big cars.

I'd agree with that, they look good.

I am partial to the chrome though as you can see.....

 Upon further inspection, it is correct to have the drivers side spark plug holder tower ahead of the valve cover bolt.

 

I have a set of chrome ones that were once on my engine, they've got the tower behind the bolt.  I remember they put the wires in the wrong place causing something to be goofed up.
