1964 Strato Chief - part source advice - suggestions?

Greetings from Toronto,

the 1964 Strato Chief arrived by truck a couple of weeks ago and I am in the process of getting it certified however a number of components related to the safety can't be found at NAPA or US based web parts suppliers. Wondering if any expects who have gone through a restoral have any suggestion. We managed to source the rear axle shaft seals as the mechanic, who is being very helpful, cross sourced by part number.

We are sill trying to source - manual steering:

1.  Pitman Arm

2.  Inner Tie Rod End (2)

3.  Outer Tie Rod End (2)

Any insight on where these parts can be found would be highly appreciated.

many thanks in advance.

If you cant find the parts locally, try Mid-Canada Suspension. 204-475-3399 Norm is the best for older inventory and tracking down want you need. Located at 25 Trottier bay, Winnipeg Manitoba

Rock auto has the arms listed, they list some moog parts and other brands. Check 1964 Biscayne. Those brands and parts can be used at local parts places like Cdn Tire even or just order from rock auto. The Pittman arm should be available too reproduction, do you need manual or power steering, they may be different.

Many thanks - I'll reach out to Norm - good to know as I suspect there will be more issues. Cheers

Fantastic, yes, I found the parts listed under Biscayne. Good to know compatible vehicles - I'll update everyone with progress... Cheers.

Try NAPA in Toronto, no need to go chasing all over Canada. Buy quality parts like Moog, they still list those parts...
