I am now a certified addict…..

Picked up this 66 Chevy II today. Came with brand new full Dynacorn floor, Wilwood disc brake setup, SS automatic console, and a few boxes of parts. It was a running, driving, inspected car in 2019..I am scared of the cars on the road in that area if this was allowed to pass inspection. Yikes

There was a guy in Ancaster back in the 1970's early 80's that everybody knew for easy safety inspections. One friend when asked by the mechanic if the horn worked, my friend said, "beep beep!" and it was good. He didn't even get out of his chair.

That Chevy II would make a nice light street machine. Hopefully there is good stuff to weld onto in key areas. They are not the strongest in the front end, but today you have options.

Just a little update on the newest addition. When I purchased the car I made sure the VIN matched the paperwork, what I didnt look at was the whole registration. I checked to make sure the VIN and the sellers name matched. All good. But in my haste, I failed to realize that its actually an Acadian in Chevy II livery. And its a Sport Deluxe as well, which I think is awesome. Sent away for VVS documents this morning. Ill update when I get those in hand to see what it was born as. I do know that its a 6 cylinder Sport Deluxe, but the cowl tag is MIA so Ill have to wait to see options. Cheers
