Wrecking yard tool cart

I hope I never posted this before, I don't think I did.

I get tired of lugging my tools around when I go to a big wrecking yard, especially my favourite yard in Minnesota that is about 1/2 a mile long.

On our free-at-the-curb weekend this year, our next door neighbour put out one of those things to pull kids around behind your bicycle. I snagged it real fast and made it into something useful. Boy did this help me when I went to my favourite wrecking yard a few weeks ago. I hauled 2 sets of power window regulators plus my tools plus more with it. Talk about making my life a lot easier.

I bet Dougie would use it to take his empties back. Very handy for sure

When you start collecting old age pension you don't feel like carrying stuff that distance like you once did!

It's in the tool bag, believe me. I learned that lesson a LONG time ago. We dubbed that WYDS, Wrecking Yard Dump Syndrome. It strikes when you have to TP and you are at the farthest possible point in the yard from the office. And grass does not make good toilet paper, wow....

Neither one actually. Guess I never even thought of the first aid kit. The bugs really aren't an issue at all for some reason.

You're in your happy place there Carl.

I picture a dirty and raggedy kid pulling a radio flyer wagon around with a big smile on his face.

There's been times over the 36 years of our marriage that my wife has said to me "It's time you had a trip to Al's." She sees a difference in me after a day or two in the wrecking yard.

Maybe that's why I'm gumpy these days. No good auto wreckers in PEI!
