67 Parisienne lost taillights and dash lights?

I looked at the fuses they seemed fine.

Want to try fixing it tomorrow is this a common problem?

Where do I start?

Thanks Guys

I would start with the light switch.

The fuses are fine, the fuse block contacts are likely corroded.

The plating on them goes away. Ragtops and wet floor cars suffer from this

Basically the contacts are rusty, try cleaning them first, good place to start. Good luck Greg!

Test light first, not just a visual inspection.  I once had a glass fuse that looked perfect but didn't work, as hard as that is to believe. Keep it simple.

Fixed!!!

man was this ever easy!

pulled the good looking fuse ,it had a hairline crack

that sparked as I pulled it out

put in a new one

BINGO

all done!

but as Mark pointed out things in that fuse box are crispy!

Good stuff, nice work! There's so much satisfaction in finding an issue like that.

I'd check the rest of the fuses too. The fuse can look perfect in the glass area, but they will come apart where the wire is soldered to the end metal, where you can't see it.
When you replace them, turn the fuse so you can see the wire inside, there is a "flat" side which is easier to see with a trouble light if it is blown...

HTH..
