Wiring question 1954 Pathfinder

Hi fellas,

I'm working my way through the wiring on my 54 and I am reading the manual and it will describe the wire as Red CR TR     What does the CR and TR stand for??

This one must have been built half way through the year as it has some cotton braid wire and some plastic. My understanding was that 54 was the year it switched and some cars ended up with both. Anyway back to my question anyone know what the CR TR stand for??

Thanks

What circuit is the wiring in? Are CR & TR indicative of the function of those wires?

No its all through the list.... ignition, lights etc. The manual list both the braid and the plastic wire color and its on the braid side that the CR and TR appear.
