Alternator clocking questions.

Question;

Can a Delco Remy style 12Si internally regulated alternator allow the back be moved or "clocked" into 4 different positions?

I'd really like to do a 94 amp internal style on the 69, and rather than look for the right clocking, can I just buy one and turn it myself? Are they the same as a 10Si in that you retain the brushes with a wire when slipping it back together?

Looking from the front of the 1969 350, I think the plug should best be at 9 o'clock and the output at 11.

Heres an example of the rear of a 12Si. So on this one I'd need to turn it two positions.

Perfect, thanks Paul.

I've had the 10SI apart, just not the 12.
