My 70 Parisienne was purchased new at McKay Pontiac Buick.

The dealership was briefly taken over by Shaganappi Chev Olds (Whose main dealership is in NW Calgary) briefly around the time of the world financial crisis before shutting down.   Jack McKay continued to own the building, and it was home to a Farmer's Market for a number of years before being shut down and the building destroyed.  There's condo's in that spot now.

If it's a foil emblem, I think your only option is to reproduce it.

Another option - found this guy on Facebook, he does some really nice repro dealership license plate frames.

I visited this other person this past summer. He had a couple of boxes of automotive emblems, which included dealer emblems. I don't remember seeing McKay but you can give him a call.

 Thanks for posting......

I'm guessing that this was a foil "peel and stick".....?

Can you post dimensions?......Looks like around 5" x 2 3/4.

Do you happen to know the dealer #?...I've come up with 81-043

Decal dimensions are:

5-1/4" x 2-7/16".

Dealer code on my Protect-O-Plate is:

82043 ( but mounted upside down).

Have you got a car from McKay's?

FYI - They were just McKay Pontiac Buick back in those days. Shaw GMC was the nearest GMC dealership.

Was there ever a diecast chrome McKay emblem...or is the one you have the only style you've seen?

No, they were only ever a sticker.   Later years when it was McKay Pontiac Buick GMC they were kind of a bubbled out rubberized sticker, but never diecast.

Have you ever seen any vintage pictures of the place?

I haven't seen any vintage photo's, but can visualize it as I'd driven by it likely 10,000 times.   It was right on MacLeod Trial, just south of 75th Avenue.

Here's a few more items:

McKay Pontiac Buick Key Ring.jpg

McKay Pontiac Buick License Plate Ring.jpg

McKay Pontiac Buick Plate.JPG

I had a McKay Pontiac Buick GMC front plate, but someone stole it when the car was in the muffler shop - stored inside.
